Job summary

A leading landscaping and construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and ensure effective contract administration. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 2 years of experience in landscaping or construction. Responsibilities include cost analysis, preparing tender documents, and managing site coordination. Candidates proficient in English and knowledgeable about tender procedures are preferred. Work time is from 9am to 6pm, five and a half days a week.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field, especially in Landscape/Construction Industries.
  • Knowledge of contract administration & tender procedures is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in Landscape/Construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attend tender interviews.
  • Provide support activities in procurement, attend site meetings, monitor deliveries, and keep track of the entire project timeline.
  • Undertake cost analysis for project work.
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Responsible for taking off measurements and monthly progress claims.
  • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Value completed work and arrange payments.
  • Maintain awareness of the different contracts in current use.
  • Ensure the construction project is completed within its projected budget.

Job Requirements
  • Min Diploma in Quantity Surveying

  • Required Skill(s): quantity surveyor, project management, site coordination, progress claims, project costing, contracts
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of contract administration & tender procedures is an advantage
  • Relevant experience in Landscape/ Constructions industry preferred
