Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QA/QC or the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures and project requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement QA/QC procedures and quality standards in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely rectification and closure of quality issues.
• Review quality documentation, inspection records and relevant submissions.
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare quality reports and document inspection findings for submission to the project team.
• Participate in site inspections, quality meetings and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Monitor and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) until closure.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
