Job Summary
The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, ensure project progress according to schedule, monitor workforce and subcontractors, and maintain safety and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities effectively on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Site & Project Management
- Supervise day-to-day construction site activities and workforce.
- Coordinate with project manager, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project schedule, progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Plan daily work programs and allocate manpower and resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety rules, regulations, and policies.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Maintain site safety records and report incidents immediately.
- Quality Control
- Inspect materials, tools, and work to ensure quality standards.
- Resolve onsite technical and work-related issues with engineers or consultants.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented for any defects.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site records including attendance, daily work logs, and progress reports.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly project progress reports.
- Coordinate material delivery and maintain inventory control.
- Team Coordination
- Supervise and guide site workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure productivity and discipline of site workforce.
- Communicate clearly with management regarding site status and issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of construction site supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in reporting and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and withstand pressure.
Preferred Attributes
- Safety certification (e.g., "NEBOSH / WSH / OSHA") is an advantage.

Working Conditions
