Job summary

KAH ENGINEERING (1986) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from planning to handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with strict quality control.

You will manage design and construction teams for HDB/MOE/LTA projects, coordinate resources, monitor safety, and liaise with clients and consultants to meet contractual requirements.

A PE-registered Civil Engineer with local experience and strong leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board Singapore or qualifications acceptable for Resident Engineer registration.
• At least 5 years of local working experience in building and construction; at least 3 years leading design and construction teams for HDB/MOE/LTA projects.
• Excellent project and time management skills; display high level of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of overall development, implementation and completion of construction within scheduled time, cost and quality.
• Plan client’s schedules and coordinate resources (materials, manpower, facilities, consumables) into effective project schedules.
• Ensure full traceability of headcount, processes, site safety and equipment.
• Ensure process stability and adequate process control.
• Detect resource problems and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with client representatives and consultants.
• Conduct meetings with subcontractors, suppliers and site staff.
• Ensure strict conformance to contractual specifications during construction, handover and maintenance if any.
