Job summary

A construction engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction projects, including planning, budgeting, site management, and ensuring quality standards. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in the fire protection industry. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ITC holder in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of similar capacity experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including setting goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled.
  • Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage contractors and subcontractors, evaluating their performance.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure construction work meets quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Ensure construction sites are safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit project reports.
