Job summary

SBM Group in Singapore is seeking a capable Construction Project Manager to drive full lifecycle delivery of diverse projects. You will plan schedules, budget resources, coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.

With a Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline and at least 2 years of PM experience, you will lead project teams, monitor progress, prepare reports, and manage procurement while

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with local building regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Conduct site meetings and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, variations, and claims.
• Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project objectives.
