Job Summary
The project Manager will be leading and managing ground improvement projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards. Act as the key liaison between Geoharbour HQ, clients, and site teams across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute ground improvement works (DCM, PVD, Vibro Compaction, Jet Grouting, etc.).
- Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, and equipment allocation.
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with specifications.
- Review and approve technical documents, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Prepare progress reports, manage variations, and ensure timely submission of claims.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and HQ.
- Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards on all sites.
- Mentor and develop project engineers and site staff to strengthen team capability.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in ground improvement or geotechnical construction, including 3 years in project management.
- Hands‑on experience with DCM, PVD, Vibro techniques, or related soil improvement methods.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Familiar with construction regulations and QHSE practices in Singapore and regional countries.
