Job summary

HUA CAI RENOVATION in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support senior construction managers in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will assist with project coordination, site supervision, technical input on MEP and structural aspects, documentation, and safety compliance to help projects run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Assisting in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress, including liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Site Supervision: Overseeing daily site activities, ensuring work complies with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Technical Support: Advising on mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects of projects, particularly in specialized sectors like data centers or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.
• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing reports, maintaining records of site activities, and supporting tender and pre-construction documentation.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Acting as a safety ambassador on site, enforcing company and legal health and safety policies.
• Budget and Resource Management: Assisting in cost control, resource allocation, and monitoring project expenditures to ensure efficiency
