Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of building projects in Singapore. You will work with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and to project requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily site activities, reviewing drawings, tracking progress, and maintaining records. Training and clear career development paths are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Up to three years of relevant site experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily construction and site activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies, coordination issues or required clarifications.
• Maintain proper control and distribution of drawings, documents and revisions to relevant parties.
• Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures and risk assessments.
• Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment required for daily site operations.
• Monitor project progress and follow up with subcontractors on outstanding work.
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Support compliance with quality, occupational safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate material procurement, receiving inspections and site records.
• Monitor material usage to minimise wastage and ensure materials are used correctly.
• Assist with site inspections and maintain quality, progress and inspection records.
• Prepare daily site and progress reports.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating consultants’ instructions, design changes and variation works.
• Perform other project-related responsibilities appropriate to the position.

Skills

Strong academic foundation

Education

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering/Building/Construction Management

Internship or project experience considered favourable
