Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction to completion. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. The ideal applicant should have over 7 years of construction experience, including 3 years in a managerial role, alongside strong project management and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish.

Construction Operations Manager Job Description
  • Oversee and manage the operations of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Develop and implement construction processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely project completion

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or disputes.

  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with procurement teams.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, communicating project status, challenges, and mitigation strategies.

  • Participate in the preparation, review and submission of tender documents, including pricing, technical submissions, and scope clarifications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex onstruction projects from start to finish

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project management.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
