A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspector responsible for ensuring the compliance of incoming materials with industry standards. The role involves inspecting materials, verifying quality certifications, conducting sampling tests, and managing related documentation. Candidates should have a strong understanding of construction material standards and inspection processes.
1.Be responsible for the quality inspection of incoming materials for construction projects (such as steel, cement, sand, gravel, concrete, waterproof materials, thermal insulation materials, etc.), and strictly implement the inspection process in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
2.Verify the quality certification documents of incoming materials (such as factory qualification certificates, inspection reports, etc.) to ensure that the specifications, models, performance and other parameters of the materials meet the project design requirements and contract agreements.
3.Conduct sampling inspection on incoming materials. The sampling process must comply with the specified sampling methods and proportions, make sampling records, conduct inspection tests in accordance with inspection standards and operating procedures, and accurately read and record inspection data.
4.Judge the material quality based on inspection data and relevant standards to determine whether the materials are qualified. For qualified materials, issue qualified inspection reports; for unqualified materials, promptly issue unqualified notices, and assist relevant departments in isolating, marking and handling unqualified materials to prevent unqualified materials from entering the construction process.
5.Be responsible for collecting, organizing and storing materials related to material quality inspection, including inspection contracts, quality certification documents, inspection records, test reports, equipment calibration certificates, etc. Establish a data management file to ensure the integrity and traceability of the data.
