Job summary

MEPTECH ENGINEERING AND SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a reliable Materials Transporter/Driver to support project sites with timely delivery of construction materials and equipment.

You will load and unload, check orders, assist with receiving and storage, and ensure safety and road compliance. The role requires physical fitness, a valid Class 3 licence and willingness to travel between sites and work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• 1–2 years driving, delivery or materials-handling experience preferred.
• Experience in construction or engineering is advantageous.
• Physically fit for manual handling of materials.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and safe driving practices.
• Willing to travel between project sites and work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, equipment and goods between project sites, warehouses and suppliers.
• Load, unload and arrange materials safely at worksites and storage areas.
• Check materials against delivery orders and ensure correct quantities are delivered.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, moving and storing construction materials.
• Ensure materials are properly secured during transportation.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections and material movements.
• Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper manual handling practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping at storage and work areas.
• Assist site workers and supervisors with material handling and delivery-related activities.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials from different project locations.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
