Job summary

EXOVE CONTRACTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced project leader to manage scaffolding operations across sites, ensuring effective manpower deployment, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient resource management. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree with extensive scaffolding and managerial experience, knowledge of MOM/WSH regulations, and strong supervision skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erector Course.
• Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course.
• Manage work at Height.
• Risk Management.
• Driving License will be advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage scaffolding supervisors and site teams to ensure staffing and productivity.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, inventory, and resources.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate requirements with customers.
• Ensure scaffold works comply with MOM regulations, WSH requirements, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Method Statements, and Fall Prevention Plans.
• Ensure PE designs, required permits, safety documentation, and quality standards are followed at project sites.
• Monitor project quality, conduct inspections, and implement improvements.
• Oversee scaffolding material allocation, usage, returns, and maintenance to minimise loss and damage.
• Train and guide scaffolding supervisors and logistics personnel on procedures, safety, and asset management.
• Perform other technical and operational duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage scaffolding supervisors and site teams to ensure effective manpower deployment, productivity, and project delivery.

• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, inventory, and resources to meet contractual requirements and budget targets.

• Conduct site surveys, attend customer meetings, and coordinate project requirements to ensure timely completion.

• Ensure all scaffolding works comply with MOM regulations, WSH requirements, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Method Statements, and Fall Prevention Plans.

• Ensure PE designs, required permits, safety documentation, and quality standards are followed at project sites.

• Monitor project quality, conduct inspections, and implement improvements where necessary.

• Oversee scaffolding material allocation, usage, returns, and maintenance to minimise loss and damage.

• Train and guide scaffolding supervisors and logistics personnel on operational procedures, safety, and asset management.

• Perform other technical and operational duties as assigned by management.

Education & Certification Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience Required:

• Min 5 years’ relevant practical hands-on experience in Scaffolding work.

• Min 5 years’ experience in Managerial role in the related field.

• Read and understand of technical specification and construction drawing

• Good knowledge of building methods and regulations including:-

1. Knowledge in Work Safety and Health (Scaffold) Regulation system.

2. Knowledge in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety regulation).

3. Understand of Permit to Work system.

4. Understanding of Scaffolding Method Statement.

5. Understanding of Fall Prevention Plan

6. Knowledge in Project Contract and submission to various government department related.
