Qualifications

• Manage construction method statements and oversee piling and excavation work.
• Lead a team of technical staff and ensure site safety regulations are met.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Well-versed in Construction Method Statements
• Manage Piling, Excavation, ERSS, RC, and Architecture work
• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts
• Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
• Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to
• Ensure progress of work is within budget & timelines as well as quality & safety objectives
• Control and monitor work progress and resources
• Lead a team of technical staff in daily operations

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min 10 years of civil engineering experience of which includes 5 years in managing a construction team for various building projects
• Well-versed in construction sequence, principles, piling and RC Structural regulatory requirements
• Good leadership skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Great team player
