Responsibilities
- You will report to the Project Manager (PM) / Project Director (PD).
- Manage and oversee the entire MRT station construction operations.
- Plan and coordinate station requirements with subcontractors, suppliers, materials, equipments based on the baseline program, and collaborate with the technical and contracts departments for approval submissions.
- Good Construction and Logistic Management Skills is a must
- Should have ability to lead a team of Site Managers and Site Engineers.
- Good Spoken English and presentation skills
- Conduct daily team meetings and site walks, documenting tasks and action plans.
- Sequence work handovers and track actual progress against planned timelines.
- Prepare progress reports for review by the PM / PD.
- Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors for structural, architectural, and M&E works.
- Collaborate with the design team to address engineering and technical issues.
- Manage traffic diversions, underground services, and temporary works.
- Ensure timely requisition of manpower, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Work with Quality and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) teams to implement safety and quality protocols on-site.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to resolve quality and safety-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering
- Min 10 years of civil engineering experience of which includes 5 - 7 years in managing a construction team for LTA MRT projects ( Especially Tunnel Projects )
- Well-versed in construction sequence, principles and LTA regulatory requirements
- Good leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player and able to blend well wth the team
