Job description

Our client is a leading A1 Main Contractor with an impressive track record in delivering high-quality projects across the HDB, Institutional, and private sectors. Known for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and safety, they are now seeking a Construction Manager to lead a new HDB residential development from start to completion.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day site operations for the HDB project to ensure timely completion, cost control, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless workflow and issue resolution.
• Supervise and mentor a team of site engineers, supervisors, and safety officers.
• Plan construction schedules and monitor project milestones to track progress.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HDB specifications, BCA regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Implement stringent workplace safety and health (WSH) practices in accordance with MOM guidelines.
• Attend and lead site meetings with stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve on-site challenges.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and shop drawings.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant construction experience, including 3 or more years managing HDB projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of local construction practices, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Familiar with HDB contract administration and project delivery framework.
