A leading project management service provider in Singapore is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead projects in the building construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing project stages, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
Lead projects through all stages: design, construction, and completion.
Manage multiple projects and vendors concurrently, ensuring smooth coordination.
Prepare project specifications, timelines, tender/bid documents, and procurement plans.
Monitor site operations, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Provide weekly progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered within established budgets and timelines.
Lead, motivate, and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Construction/Project Management, or related field.
Degree must be recognized by Singapore’s Board of Architects, Professional Engineering Board (PEB), or BCA.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant post-graduate experience in the building construction industry (preferably HDB projects), OR at least 3 years’ project management experience.
Proficiency in MS Project.
Have the following certifications:
Accreditation under the Society of Project Managers (SPM) – APM Scheme preferred.
Proven track record in interior fit-outs, refurbishments, and HDB or public housing projects.
Strong skills in schedule, quality, cost, and risk management.
Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to perform value engineering, buildability analysis, and design/document reviews.
Action-oriented, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Tech-savvy and organized, with strong leadership to motivate project teams.
