Job summary

A leading offshore construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee Capex projects and ensure effective management of construction processes, including condition assessments and resource allocation. Applicants should have a graduate level education, preferably as a marine engineer or deck officer, along with at least 10 years of experience in the Marine or Oil & Gas industry. Strong leadership abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Class 2 marine engineer or deck officer.

Job Requirements

Responsible for construction related inputs into Capex generation for projects under bid.

Responsible for identification, development and implementation of construction deliverables for the projectsunder bid including yard works specifications and schedules for conversion and life extension.

Visit vessels and fabrication facilities locally or abroad for the purposes of condition assessment or auditing purposes to assess capability.

Process Owner for Corporate Construction Process with responsibility for review, generation and updatingof corporate construction procedures and guidelines.

Identification and deployment of resources required for construction in consultation with projectconstruction manager and project manager. Progress measurement, reporting on project construction activities.

Responsible for supporting construction processes of the projects under execution. To assume the role of designated Construction Manager for a project, as and when required.

Perform other duties as required and advised by Manager – Projects.

Qualification Requirement

Graduate, preferably of a marine discipline, Minimum Class 2 marine engineer or deck officer.

Experience Requirement

10 years of relevant experience in Marine or Oil & Gas Industry Construction Management including skill to handle multi discipline team
