The School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST) is seeking a passionate, forward‑thinking educator to join us as a Computing and Cybersecurity Teacher. In this role, you’ll equip students with future‑ready skills in cybersecurity and programming, and play a key part in SST’s mission to advance equity in technology—including actively supporting girls‑in‑STEM initiatives and inclusive computing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach core and applied computing modules, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and Python programming.
  • Design learner‑centred lessons that build skills in secure coding, threat analysis, and ethical hacking.
  • Guide students through real‑world projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Lead and mentor student talent through CCAs such as coding clubs, cybersecurity competitions, and SST Inc. Girls‑In‑Tech.
  • Lead female students in overseas education partnerships and programme.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
  • A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity concepts (secure systems, threat mitigation, ethical hacking) and Python programming.
  • Strong classroom facilitation skills and a commitment to applied, inquiry‑based learning.
  • Openness to overseas travel for collaborative student programmes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
  • Experience in curriculum design, student mentorship, or managing CCA programmes in cybersecurity or computing.
  • Familiarity with EdTech platforms, cloud tools, and innovative teaching pedagogies.
