Job summary

A leading precision engineering company is seeking a sales professional in Singapore to provide after-sales support and manage customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 6 years of B2B sales experience in the maritime industry. The role requires travel across ASEAN and offers the opportunity to work in the West (Tuas/Pioneer/Jurong).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of B2B equipment/machinery sales experience.
  • Able to travel 20% across ASEAN for work assignments.
  • Good network with maritime & shipping management companies is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Directly involve in offering after-sales support services
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Develop and monitor the market in the assigned area
  • Provide technical sales presentations, technical support, customer training, applications guidance
  • Prepare technical proposal and commercial proposal
  • Ensure business objectives are met within the timeline
  • Assist in providing sales forecast and market reports
  • Manage the customer database
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Min 6 years of B2B equipment / machinery sales experience in marine / maritime machinery / Ship Owners / Builders environment
  • Able to travel 20% ASEAN for work assignment
  • Good network / contact with maritime & shipping management company will be a big plus
  • Willing to work in the West (Tuas/Pioneer/Jurong)
