Qualifications

Site Overview:

For more than 40 years, our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS). GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:
  • Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirements
  • Ensure proper work clearance, correctness and completeness
  • Prevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next work station
  • Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers for evaluations, audits related activities
  • Collect data, feedback on the quality of parts inspected to the Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers
  • Perform visual & dimensional inspections, and set area management of the parts
  • Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
  • QC experience in repair of aircraft engine components
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferably with CAAS Air Legislation Paper L11 or L12 or C14
  • Knowledge of flaws and defects
  • Ability to comprehend blue print
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • A team player
