A leading compliance consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Project Engineer for a 2-year contract. The role involves providing compliance guidance, conducting verifications, and developing data management tools like Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a degree in IT or related fields and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in governance and compliance. Job Title: Compliance Project Engineer - Government Sector | 2 Year Contract

We’re G&C Project Engineer! Empowering digital transformation through governance, compliance, and data-driven insights in the public sector.

Location: Bukit Merah Central

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

Salary: $6,000.00 - $9,000

Duration: 24-month contract

Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory and guidance to application teams in their preparations to go through compliance verifications and be ready for audits
  • Conduct regular compliance verifications to ensure applications have necessary processes, standards and controls to comply with policies
  • Develop protocols and documentation for maintaining compliance standards
  • Lead and manage the compliance onboarding with application teams to ensure they meet the planned schedule
  • Work closely and engage with engineering departments to identify areas of improvement and solve problems
  • Develop and maintain the management reporting dashboard with data analytical tool such as Power BI.
Job Requirements (Skillsets, platforms, experience, domain knowledge)
  • Degree in any Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of technical and/or project management experiences in IT Operations and Support and/or Governance and Compliance
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, facilitating collaboration between teams across departments
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance challenges and security risks issues
  • Knowledge and familiarity with government IT security policies and processes is essential
  • Proactive in improving and streamlining processes, incorporating feedback from audits and assessments to enhance application sustainment practices
  • Ability to prepare the organisation for audits, ensuring that documentation, processes, and controls align with policy and standards requirement
  • Knowledge and technical skills in data analysis tools such as Power BI and Tableau would be an advantage
  • The role requires strong experience in account management and compliance, along with technical proficiency in managing and understanding account setups and system integrations across platforms such as Windows Active Directory, RHEL Linux, Privileged Identity and Access Management (PIM/PAM), Cloud Active Directory, and AWS IAM.
