Job summary

CoGoLinks in Singapore seeks an experienced Compliance professional to oversee MAS MPI licence compliance, maintaining internal controls, AML/CFT policies, and risk assessment frameworks aligned with the Payment Services Act and MAS notices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in AML within the payments industry.
• Solid understanding of the Singapore Payment Services Act, MAS MPI regulatory requirements and risk/compliance frameworks.
• Strong compliance and commercial awareness; able to identify risks and propose actionable solutions.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing compliance maintenance for the Singapore MAS MPI licence, updating internal controls, AML/CFT policies, and risk assessment methodologies to align with the Payment Services Act and MAS notices.
• Develop and review internal compliance requirements, ensuring prudence and alignment with internal standards and MAS expectations for MPI licensees.
• Conduct annual compliance reviews of the regulated payments business and partners to detect and report compliance risks.
• Collaborate with risk, business and other teams to deliver compliance advisory, risk control and continuous monitoring support for MPI activities.

Job description

1. 1. Oversee ongoing compliance maintenance for the Singapore MAS Major Payment Institution (MPI) licence. Regularly update compliance documentation including internal control frameworks, AML/CFT policies, Enterprise-wide Risk Assessment frameworks and supporting methodologies to align with the Payment Services Act, MAS Notices and evolving business operations.
2. 2. Develop and review internal compliance requirements, ensure prudence and consistency with internal business standards and MAS regulatory expectations for MPI licensees.
3. 3. Conduct annual compliance reviews covering the company’s regulated payment business and payment partners. Detect, assess and report compliance risks arising from day-to-day operations.
4. 4. Collaborate with risk, business and other internal teams to deliver professional compliance advisory, risk control and continuous monitoring support for MPI regulated activities.

Job Requirements

1. 1. Minimum 5 years of compliance experience, of which at least 3 years are dedicated AML and compliance experience within the payment industry.
2. 2. Solid understanding of Singapore Payment Services Act, MAS MPI regulatory requirements, risk and compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
3. 3. Demonstrate strong compliance and commercial awareness; capable of identifying risks and proposing actionable solutions.
4. 4. Able to work independently and perform well under pressure.
