A community organization in Singapore seeks a dedicated individual to lead volunteer management and community engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers, as well as developing programs that support senior volunteerism. The ideal candidate has a minimum of GCE 'O' Level and preferably prior experience in community work. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
Work Location: Eunos Crescent
Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, half day on Sat)
Assess and meet volunteer needs through recruitment, coordination, training and retention of volunteers.
Implement and monitor compliance to volunteer policies and processes.
Plan, develop and implement Senior Volunteerism programme.
Support Volunteer Leadership Programme.
Plan and organise volunteer recognition and engagement activities.
Assist in volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts, including developing and organising outreach events and initiatives to promote volunteerism.
Engage internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate volunteer initiatives and efforts.
Review and evaluate volunteer management policies and initiatives to gather feedback for improvement.
Source, engage and build partnerships with relevant stakeholders such as grassroots organisations, corporates, and schools.
Communicate with relevant internal stakeholders and external partners in fulfilling community engagement projects.
Develop and manage delivery of internal and external communication plans and strategies to support community engagement projects.
Provide support in fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.
Update and maintain stakeholder and volunteer database.
Monitor budgets, expenses and funding for volunteer and community engagement initiatives.
Provide secretariat support to staff meetings and update reports.
Minimum GCE 'O' Level or relevant certificate
Prior experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or working in social service / eldercare settings preferred.
Experience in organising events, outreach activities, and stakeholder engagement will be an added advantage.
Comfortable with working with seniors
