We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Voice Communication System Engineer to deploy, maintain, and support our enterprise voice communication infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure voice communication services, including VoIP, PBX systems, and unified communications platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy and maintain enterprise voice communication systems including VoIP, PBX, SIP trunks and other communication platforms.
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot voice hardware and software components.
  • Manage voice network infrastructure, including QoS, SIP routing, and voice gateways.
  • Monitor system performance and voice quality; resolve voice-related incidents and outages.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure integrated and secure voice services.
  • Plan and execute voice system migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for voice system architecture, processes, and user guides.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for voice communication issues.
  • Evaluate new voice technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards related to voice communications.
Essential Qualification
  • Diploma/Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in voice communication systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP), PBX systems, and digital/analog voice systems.
  • Experience with radio communication systems (e.g., VHF/UHF and SATCOM).
  • Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure (TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs).
  • Proficiency in system integration and troubleshooting tools.
