Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks a Commodities Sales Analyst to support senior sales, cover clients end-to-end, deliver concise daily market insights, and price and execute transactions in real time.

You will work with Trading to tailor solutions aligned to client objectives, build market expertise, and develop skills for long‑term growth across the commodities complex in a fast‑moving, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, CS, or related field.
• At least 3 years in a sales or trading role.
• Understanding of commodities or financial markets.
• Ability to take ownership and manage projects independently.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and written/verbal skills; collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior sales with client coverage and pipeline follow-up.
• Deliver daily market updates and themes for clients.
• Generate trade ideas and drive execution from quote to post-trade.
• Price vanilla and structured products across commodities.
• Maintain real-time client communication via chat and phone.
• Partner with Credit and Risk on limits, collateral, exposure monitoring.
• Collaborate with Trading to deliver risk management and solutions.

Job responsibilities

• Assist senior sales team members in proactive client coverage and pipeline follow‑up
• Produce concise daily market updates and themes for clients
• Generate trade ideas and drive execution from quote through post‑trade processes
• Price vanilla and structured products across commodities as directed
• Maintain frequent, real‑time client communication via chat and phone
• Partner with Credit and Risk teams on limits, collateral, and exposure monitoring
• Partner with Trading to deliver fit‑for‑purpose risk management and investment solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant sales or trading role
• General understanding of commodities and/or financial markets
• Confidence and initiative to take ownership and manage projects independently
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; collaborative mindset and leadership potential
