Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s Commodities Sales team in Singapore seeks a driven Commodities Sales Analyst to support senior colleagues in end‑to‑end client coverage, delivering concise market insights and trade ideas.

You will collaborate with Trading to tailor solutions aligned with client objectives, accelerating your exposure to risk management and investment opportunities. You will produce daily market updates, assist in pricing transactions, and ensure real-time client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or trading role.
• General understanding of commodities and/or financial markets.
• Confidence and initiative to take ownership and manage projects independently.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; collaborative mindset and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior sales team members in proactive client coverage and pipeline follow‑up.
• Produce concise daily market updates and themes for clients.
• Generate trade ideas and drive execution from quote through post‑trade processes.
• Price vanilla and structured products across commodities as directed.
• Maintain frequent, real‑time client communication via chat and phone.
• Partner with Credit and Risk teams on limits, collateral, and exposure monitoring.
• Partner with Trading to deliver fit‑for‑purpose risk management and investment solutions.
