AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud growing. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will use data and anecdotes to tactically drive internal customers to manage project risks (safety, quality, time and cost) globally. You will use your knowledge and experience to develop dashboards. You will apply business acumen to develop actionable insights and simplify reporting to peers and leadership to drive better business outcomes. You will need to have the backbone to tell the business what is slowing us down backed with data analysed. You will partner peers to develop solutions that enable the business to be agile and adaptable to deliver high quality builds with consistency.
The AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery Commissioning Team (DCCD Cx) is an independent critical infrastructure validations team within the Data Centre Capacity Delivery (DCCD) organization. This team of professional Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Project Managers, Operators and seasoned Amazonians are uniquely positioned to provide deeply detailed engineering and operational review and testing of equipment designs, operational functionality and construction practices. We are focused on ensuring the rapid delivery of a quality product while maintaining full transparency, recording metrics of manufacturer/contractor/equipment issues in new builds and upgrade projects, whilst identifying opportunities for all our peers and customers.
