Job summary

An engineering company in Singapore is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers (Electrical) to perform site testing and system troubleshooting. Candidates should have a diploma in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of generator control panels are essential for this role. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, with transport provided from Jurong East MRT to the office.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Generator Set control panel (LCP/UCP).
• Able to read P&ID is an added advantage.

SATOMAS PTE LTD (Energy Offshore Division)

We are a fast growing engineering company in Design, Assembly & Supply of Offshore Rotating Equipment (Generator Set, Fire Water Pump Set).

Looking for Commissioning Engineers (Electrical) that have strong self motivation with hand on problem solving. Responsible for Site Testing and system trouble shooting for our equipment.

Customizes CMS database check sheets and allocation of check sheets based on latest engineering drawing revisions and punch list updates for mechanical/ electrical process/safety /HVAC discipline

• Prepares boundary drawings as per subsystem listing
• Prepares procedures/ work method statements and risk assessment for mechanical/electrical process/ safety/ HVAC commissioning activities
• Attends Factory Acceptance Test at vendors' premises, as required. (FAT)
• Leads a team of mechanical electrical technicians/ mechanics for preparation and site execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and function testing of mechanical equipment and vendor equipment packages on the topsides
• Reviews commissioning shipped-loose items, consumables and spares for proper inventory and availability
• Reviews system / sub-system completion status for taking over from Construction Team as per commissioning schedule and priorities
• Liaises with various parties including vendor site representatives, where required, to ensure any issues affecting system completion are resolved in a timely manner
• Participates in system / sub-system joint inspections for taking over from Construction Team, punch listing activities
• Able to travel oversea
• Prepares relevant documents required for safe energization of equipment such as Livening -Up Notice, CPTW, Isolation Lists, etc
• Ensures that commissioning testing activities are conducted safely and complies with the site PTW and safety regulations and procedures
• Reviews completed commissioning documentation such as check sheets, test procedures, red-line mark-up drawings, commissioning dossiers, etc.
• Follows up with relevant parties to ensure proper closure of outstanding issues arising from commissioning activities
• Ensure to maintain up to date punch close report

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience in similar field
• Good Knowledge of Generator Set control panel (LCP/UCP)
• Basic knowledge of PLC &censors setting
• Able to read P&ID is an added advantage
• Overseas travelling & onboard vessels are required

Working hours

Monday –Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm (Transport provided from Jurong East MRT to Office)
