We are seeking a talented Commercial Interior Designer with experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector to create functional, visually appealing, and brand‑aligned spaces. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with practical knowledge of restaurant, café, and bar operations to design environments that enhance customer experience and meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Director and management to develop design concepts aligned with the brand’s identity, vision, and target audience.
- Create innovative layouts that balance aesthetics, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Space Planning & Design
- Prepare detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and 3D visualizations for F&B outlets.
- Ensure designs comply with safety, accessibility, and local building regulations.
Material & Finishes Selection
- Specify suitable materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and fixtures for commercial food and beverage spaces.
- Consider durability, maintenance, and cost‑effectiveness for high‑traffic environments.
Project Management & Coordination
- Collaborate with building management, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure design intent is implemented accurately.
- Monitor project timelines and quality standards.
Brand & Experience Integration
- Translate the brand identity into physical spaces that enhance the customer journey.
- Incorporate signage, wayfinding, and interior branding elements.
Innovation & Trends
- Stay updated with the latest trends in F&B design, materials, and technologies.
- Suggest creative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experienced with Interior Design, Architecture or related field at least 5 years in the F&B industry.
- Proven experience in commercial interior design, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Rendering apps 3ds Max, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, D5 or other design software.
- Excellent understanding of space planning, furniture selection, lighting, and materials.
- Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Experience with restaurant operations, outlet and kitchen layout planning.
- Knowledge of local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
- Portfolio demonstrating successful F&B projects.
Working Conditions
- Office‑based work with site visits to ongoing projects.
- Occasional travel to suppliers, contractors, or client locations.
- May have night move‑in on standby or other required times.
