Job description

Our client is one of the largest logistics & supply chain solution providers in SEA. They are searching for an accomplished and worldly Commercial Head with extensive experience in logistics and supply chain operations – especially for bonded and non-bonded warehouse leasing/management, and air cargo terminal operations. In this role, you will work directly with the CEO and executive team to drive commercial growth, manage client relationships, and optimize revenue across warehousing, cargo handling, and distribution. This position requires relocation to Hanoi, Vietnam without exception.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial function across key accounts, sales, marketing, tendering, and contracts.
• Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy for logistics, warehousing, and cargo terminal services.
• Spearhead negotiations for key contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and long-term partnerships.
• Manage all aspects of pricing strategy, margin optimization, and revenue forecasting.
• Oversee operations for bonded and non-bonded warehouses, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with operations teams to align service delivery with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, government, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to guide business strategy.
• Provide commercial insights to support strategic investments, infrastructure development, and operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Bare minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, with 3 years in a senior leadership function.
• Extensive commercial and operational background managing warehouse leasing and air cargo terminal operations in SEA.
• Demonstrated success in developing commercial strategies, managing P&L, and achieving revenue targets.
• Concrete understanding of Vietnamese customs, regulations, and protocols for bonded warehousing and air cargo terminal operations.
• Fluent or near-fluent in English. Professional working fluency in Vietnamese will be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
