A multinational healthcare company in Singapore is seeking a Manager, Commercial Effectiveness and Channel Manager to lead channel strategy and execution across distributor markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in diagnostics and medical devices. Responsibilities include optimizing distributor contracts and managing strategic projects, requiring strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred.
  • Experience in commercial Sales/Marketing in healthcare.
  • Distributor/channel partner management experience required.
  • Contract management experience, including detailed documentation.
  • Knowledge of SEA countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; Analytics experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive channel strategy and execution across the region.
  • Structure and optimize distributor contracts/agreements.
  • Track KPIs including sell-in and sell-out data.
  • Onboard and off-board distributors; provide sales training.
  • Support global strategic projects relating to Gross Margin Improvements.

The Manager, Commercial Effectiveness and Channel Manager position in AMD APAC is tasked with the responsibility of driving channel strategy and sales across the region (distributor markets), supporting Customer Account Management, Sales force excellence and, delivering integrated business insights by coordinating data/insights from IBP/pricing/salesforce/account mgmt. as well as managing strategic projects (e.g., end-of-life project mgmt., product portfolio and Alinity m project management)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Driving channel strategy and execution across the region including distributor management
  • Structuring and optimization of distributor contracts/agreements, renewals, and approvals Distributor rebates and Incentive Programs Tracking and Report of KPIs including sell-in and sell-out data Selection and onboarding/off-boarding of distributors Distributor Sales team training Evaluation and execution support of global strategic projects, specifically in the area of Gross Margin Improvements as related to channel partners Coordinating APAC level strategic projects that have impact on long-term business health such as product portfolio and life cycle management projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred

  • Experience in commercial Sales/Marketing experience, within healthcare - diagnostics/medical devices/pharma industry

  • Distributor/ channel partner management experience required

  • Contract management experience, including detailed documentation, is must

  • Knowledge and working experience of SEA countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia.

  • Comfortable with advanced Excel, Analytics experience (PowerBI, Salesforce) is advantageous

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
