Job description

The role holder will serve as the Commercial Director or Project Controls Director for a major aviation

infrastructure project based in Singapore. This position is responsible for leading the commercial strategy,

project controls, and risk management functions to ensure the successful delivery of the project in alignment

with international aviation standards and Singaporean regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and project controls functions for a major aviation project in Singapore,
• ensuring alignment with strategic, financial, and operational goals.
• Support the development of commercial talent pipelines to meet future project demands across
• the Asia Pacific region.
• Engage with the Go-To-Market team to align commercial strategy with bid development and
• contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Singaporean aviation regulations and international standards.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies for the aviation project, including procurement, contract administration, and financial forecasting.
• Provide leadership in project controls, including cost management, scheduling, and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary degree in engineering or commerce
• Extensive proven experience (between 15 to 20 years) in commercial leadership roles on major aviation or infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of project controls, risk management, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with Singaporean regulatory frameworks and international aviation standards.
• Strong background in dispute resolution, claims management, and commercial negotiations.
• Digital-first mindset with experience implementing enterprise-grade commercial systems.
