JOB DESCRIPTION

A mining and trading firm with global presence is currently looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to join their expanding team to drive the company's long-term business growth and development.

The Commercial Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting market research and analysis to identify strategic business opportunities for potential development and investment, supporting investment due diligence process, contributing to origination, execution, and management of cross-border projects, creating business proposals, marketing decks, and project briefs, develop financial models for deal structuring, preparing and presenting deliverables to internal and external stakeholders, liaising with external stakeholders to secure and manage projects, and participate in business initiatives for development of new strategic ventures.

The incumbent will also be required to travel for 30% annually.

Successful candidates can expect to work in an established organization with a cohesive team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar fields
• Minimum 1- 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with financial modelling
• Experience with creating marketing decks
• Comfortable with liaising with multiple external stakeholders
• Willing to travel to support business requirements
• Fluency in both English and Chinese language as incumbent will need to liaise closely with China stakeholders
