Job Summary

The Collections Executive will be responsible for managing collection and default handling activities for the company’s lease and hire purchase portfolio. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to engage customers effectively and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reach out to overdue or delinquent customers via phone and email to facilitate timely repayment.
  • Apply effective negotiation and communication techniques to encourage payment and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Conduct research to obtain updated contact information for customers who are difficult to reach.
  • Manage the vehicle repossession and remarketing processes when required.
  • Ensure all collection activities are performed in compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and achieve performance targets.
  • Provide administrative support, including contract management and day-to-day customer service.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly across various communication channels.
  • Assist with loan-related matters such as early termination quotations, loan detail management, and invoice preparation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support collection and administrative processes.
  • Prepare and maintain daily and monthly disbursement reports.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control principles, including segregation of duties and four-eyes checks.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, default handling, or related administrative functions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
