Job summary

SMC Manufacturing (Singapore) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to lead a team of operators and machinists in a CNC machining environment, driving daily production targets and quality to meet customer deliveries.

You will plan, do, check, and act (PDCA) for your section's objectives, production output, quality, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives, while preparing reports and participating in meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a machine shop environment.
• Strong CNC operation and programming knowledge.
• Ability to design fixtures is an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Hands-on and self-motivated with initiative.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Physically fit with independent work attitude.
• Willing to lead and train a team to meet daily production targets.
• Passion for CNC machining technology.
• Reliable and committed to quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage a team of Operator and Machinist to meet daily production targets and quality for customer deliveries.
• Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) for section objectives, production output, quality, productivity, cost savings & capacity.
• Be hands-on when required to support production.
• Prepare reports and participate in meetings.
