Job summary

Yamazaki Mazak Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring a QC Inspector to inspect CNC machined parts on the production floor and ensure products meet defined quality standards. You will document results, raise NCRs, and support ISO 9001 and QMS compliance.

The role involves using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, and surface roughness testers, with opportunities to participate in improvement initiatives and CAPA activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of QC inspection in CNC machining or precision manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on dimensional and visual inspection of CNC parts and machine accuracy checks.
• Document inspection results and raise NCRs where applicable.
• Update inspection SOPs based on floor findings and support audits.
• Operate measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM and roughness testers.
• Identify, tag and escalate non-conforming parts per NCR procedures; assist CAPA.
