Job summary
58 RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CNC programmer/operator with experience in Mastercam and SolidWorks to support CNC milling and lathe operations.
The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and translating requirements into precise machine code for production runs. You will collaborate with production engineers to develop machining programs, setup tests, and ensure parts meet specifications.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorks for CAD/CAM programming and machining
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T specifications
- Experience in CNC milling and CNC lathe setups and process routing
- Translate instructions into machine codes and verify machine outputs against specs
- Prepare machine setups and test runs to ensure conformance to drawings
Responsibilities
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup and process routing
- Liaise with production team and engineers on production information
- Translate instructions into codes for machines to perform accurate functions
- Prepare machine setup for test runs to ensure machine outputs meet specifications
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts
- Create solid models using CAD/CAM software with precision according to drawings
- Coordinate with process engineers and technicians to create and validate machining programs
- Supervise task execution and inspect and measure outputs
