Job description

We are seeking a CNC manager to lead a team of CNC machinists, overseeing daily operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety are met. Key responsibilities include assigning tasks, troubleshooting equipment, training staff, and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong technical background in CNC machining along with leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff: Manage and guide CNC machinists, assigning daily tasks and ensuring they meet quality and production targets.
  • Oversee production: Coordinate with other departments to ensure job readiness and track production progress to meet schedules.
  • Maintain quality: Implement and monitor quality control standards throughout the production process.
  • Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve technical and operational problems with CNC machines and equipment.
  • Implement improvements: Drive efficiency and productivity by implementing process improvements and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage resources: Oversee aspects such as machine maintenance, tool inventory, and consumable spending.
  • Promote safety: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by enforcing safety protocols and 5S standards.
Job Conditions

4 off days monthly; rest days depend on schedule. Ability to work long hours and late into evenings and weekends.

Competitive salary of RM3,000 and above.

Work location: Island-wide.

Duration: Permanent.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing industry.

  • At least one year of related work experience.
  • Full-time employment.
