Job description
Responsibilities
- Able to interpret mechanical drawing with good knowledge of GD&T for CNC programming and machining.
- To prepare tooling and optimise tooling selection for CNC machines set up.
- To set up CNC Milling and CNC Turning machines to fabricate precision parts according to drawing.
- To ensure first work piece is machined according to drawing specification.
- To operate CNC milling / CNC Turning machines according to production schedule.
- To work closely with Quality department to resolve quality issue.
- To troubleshoot simple machine errors and perform preventive machine maintenance.
- To upkeep the cleanliness of machines and work areas.
- To follow safety regulations / company ISO requirement strictly.
