Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, diagnose mechanical, electrical and automation problems, and repair or replace defective parts to restore operation.

You will keep accurate maintenance records, work independently and with the team, and follow safety guidelines. The role requires a NITEC or equivalent and solid troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems and automation.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various machines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance records.
• Effective communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance procedures on CNC machines to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical problems in machines and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems to restore machines to proper functioning.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, greasing and cleaning machines.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and provide assistance and guidance as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance activities.
