Job summary

A well-established provider of manufacturing solutions is seeking a technician to perform CMP head rebuilds and assist with maintenance on semiconductor equipment. Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering and 1–2 years of industry experience. This role supports installation tasks and requires adherence to safety protocols. Overtime pay is provided for additional work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or relevant technical certification in Engineering or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably with front-end wafer processing equipment.
  • Experience or training in CMP head rebuilds preferred; candidates with strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CMP head rebuilds including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, calibration, and testing.
  • Assist in preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CMP and related semiconductor equipment.
  • Carry out routine installation support and field service tasks under supervision.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform CMP head rebuilds including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, calibration, and testing following established procedures
  • Assist in preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CMP and related semiconductor equipment
  • Carry out routine installation support and field service tasks under supervision or guidance of an engineer
  • Maintain accurate records of rebuild and maintenance activities, including parts usage and service checklists
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out with adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Support inventory tracking for CMP rebuild-related components and tools
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or relevant technical certification in Engineering or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably with front-end wafer processing equipment
  • Experience or training in CMP head rebuilds preferred; candidates with strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn will be considered
  • Willing to perform overtime work as required; OT pay is provided
