Job description

Duration: 1 year (Renewable Contract)

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Salary Range: $6400 - $9500

Working hours: 0830-1800 / 5 days (Mon-Fri)

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze tender specifications and client requirements to design, propose, and deploy suitable cloud infrastructure and solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, Huawei, etc.)
• Implement, configure, and test hybrid/multi-cloud integrations with on-premise systems
• Manage cloud performance, security, scalability, and availability using monitoring tools
• Create solution architecture documents, technical diagrams, and user documentation
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for cloud and system issues
• Collaborate with the network infrastructure team for integration between cloud and on-premise environments
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and best practices
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare configuration and project documentation
• Implement backup, restore, monitoring, and CIS compliance practices in cloud
• (Optional) Handle system implementation such as high-availability networking, firewalls, servers, storage, backup, AD/LDAP, IAM, RDBMS/NoSQL, Kubernetes, API management, and disaster recovery setup

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, automation, and integration
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Proficient in monitoring, scripting, and deployment tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, Node.js)
• Familiar with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, REST)
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CompTIA Cloud+, Cisco Cloud)
• Added advantage: VMware, VAPT, DevOps (Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira), CI/CD, system hardening, IaaS/PaaS, and backup/DR experience
