Job summary

A global technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to enhance the security of AWS services. This role requires conducting regular security assessments, implementing best practices, and maintaining automated vulnerability scanning scripts. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cloud security experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with AWS services and security vulnerability tools.

Qualifications

We are representing our client in the global technology and engineering sector to look for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer. This role will involve identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within the AWS infrastructure to ensure the security and integrity of the cloud services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests on our AWS services to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
  • Implement best practices in AWS security, including configuring security groups, IAM policies, monitoring tools and maintain VMS apps e.g. Tenable.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and effectively.
  • Stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and AWS features to enhance our security posture.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and reports on findings and remediations for management and compliance purposes.
Requirements
