Job description

We are looking for an entry Security Lead to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of enterprise operation and cloud adoption strategies. This role involves managing day-to-day security operations and supporting the protection of critical assets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and review security standards, procedures, and playbooks to ensure effectiveness for overall operations use.

• Operate and manage security monitoring tools, such as SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management.

• Manage and oversee vulnerability management, from scanning to remediation tracking.

• Maintain and ensure IT security risks, threats, and controls are logged, tracked, and remediated.

• Support security-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective implementation and management of security controls.

• Advise teams based on cyber security reference practices and ensure alignment with industry reference practices and government legislation (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, etc.)

• Passion for emerging technologies staying ahead of latest trend.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience managing cloud or infrastructure security projects.

• Strong understanding of security controls, such as SIEM, vulnerability management, incident response, threat detection, and access management.

• Translate security concepts to both technical and non-technical team.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information Security, or related field.

• Minimally 3 years’ experience in IT security operations.

• At least one industry recognized security certification, such as CISSP, CISM.
