Job summary

PCSS is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead system maintenance, vulnerability management, and security audits for our IT environment in Singapore. You will monitor tools, respond to incidents, and coordinate with vendors and IT teams.

The role requires 5+ years in cyber security maintenance or security operations, a degree in a relevant field, and strong communication, analytical skills, and leadership to guide a team of engineers on Day 1 and Day 2 tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in cyber security maintenance or IT security operations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lead a team of engineers for Day 1 and Day 2 functions.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS.
• Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents; provide first-level troubleshooting and documentation.
• Liaise with technology vendors for escalation as required.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure.
• Support security audits by gathering and preparing logs and reports; ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of cybersecurity environment.

Education

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent

Job Description:

Cybersecurity System Maintenance

Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation

Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required

Vulnerability Management

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure

Security Audits

Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards

Technical Skill Sets:

Cyber Security Domain: Endpoint protection, Network Security, IAM

Certification: CISSP or cyber security equivalent
