Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte Ltd seeks a multidisciplinary System Engineer with OT/IoT foundations and strong software development experience. You will design, integrate, and securely deploy complex, connected systems across their full lifecycle—from concept to production and continuous improvement.

Collaborating with stakeholders across technical, operational, and management domains, you will deliver resilient, data-driven, and cyclable platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in web and backend application development with cloud exposure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for IoT workloads, deployment, and scaling.
• Proficiency in Java or C++, plus scripting (Python/JavaScript) and frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Strong skills in cloud-native design, testing, and debugging in cloud environments.
• Ability to interface hardware with software via serial, GPIO, USB, network, and OT protocols (OPCUA, Modbus, Bacnet).
• Familiar with cloud application architecture, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Understanding of user-centric design and multimodal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, evaluating, operating, and maintaining devices and platform infrastructure.
• Connect and integrate systems, applications, and IoT devices into a unified solution with scalable cloud technologies.
• Integrate hardware with software platforms via interfaces and OT protocols (OPCUA, Modbus, Bacnet).
• Perform basic wiring, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic devices.
• Create and maintain IoT and application setups for secure, scalable cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Optimize applications and backend services for performance, load, and availability.
• Implement end-to-end data protection and cloud security best practices.
• Develop and refine user input workflows for web and mobile apps.
• Update backend logic for accurate cloud-based reporting.
• Contribute to web apps and cloud-native services focusing on scalability and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for reliable deployments.
• Integrate ML models into cloud services for verification, QA, and analytics.
• Add multimodal guidance to improve system usability across platforms.
• Ensure compliance with governance guidelines and cloud regulations.
• Support and document software libraries and hardware databases in cloud environments.
• Assist in tender specs and evaluation processes for cloud tech.
