Kyndryl is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Singapore to design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure environments. You will lead initiatives, engage with stakeholders, and help clients achieve reliable, secure cloud operations while growing your technical leadership and earning certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years ICT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and engineering experience.
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments (500+ users).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Microsoft Azure environments.
• Monitor system health, perform root-cause analysis, patching, backups and DR to meet SLAs.
• Enforce Entra ID identity controls, security hardening and compliance with standards.
• Develop IaC scripts, automate operational workflows, maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement centralized logging, observability, and telemetry for cloud workloads.
• Analyze resource usage and recommend efficiency and cost-saving measures.
• Support migration of legacy workloads to Azure and assist with modernization reviews.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, asset inventories, and governance documentation.

What You Will Do

• Environment & Resource Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available Microsoft Azure environments, subscriptions, virtual machines, networking, and platform services.
• Operations & Incident Support: Monitor system health and performance, conduct root-cause troubleshooting, manage patching, and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes to meet SLAs.
• Security & Government Compliance: Enforce Entra ID identity controls, execute security hardening, and ensure strict alignment with Singapore Government IM8 standards and audit requirements.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop IaC scripts, automate operational workflows, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and author standard operational runbooks.
• Observability & Logging: Implement centralized logging, alerting, and telemetry solutions to maintain end-to-end visibility across cloud workloads.
• Cost & Performance Optimization: Conduct resource utilization tuning, analyze consumption patterns, and recommend efficiency and cost‑saving measures.
• Cloud Migration & Modernization: Support the transition of legacy on‑premises workloads to Azure and assist with application modernization and architecture reviews.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain accurate architecture diagrams, asset inventories, and procedures while providing regular reporting for governance and service reviews.
