Title : Cloud Engineer / Cloud Wintel Engineer / Cloud Linux, Unix - Engineer ( Level 2 & Level 3 support)
Job responsibilities:
- Handle L2-level incidents, service requests, and escalations related to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Monitor cloud environments for health, performance, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
- Implement infrastructure changes based on change management policies.
- Participate in cloud resource provisioning and automation using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to cloud systems and services as needed.
- Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Support DevOps and development teams during deployments and incident investigations.
- Assist in cost optimization efforts by analysing cloud usage and suggesting improvements.
- Implement, manage, and support AWS services including VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, Security configurations, and Glass Panel remediation, as well as Azure Cloud environments.
- Integrate AWS VPC and AWS Cloud services with external systems.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including setup, patching, security management, backup, restore, and upgrade activities.
- Perform Windows Domain administration and setup.
- Manage server, network configuration, and setup for all latest Windows OS versions.
- Administer third-party software tools (e.g., Third Sight).>
- Coordinate server maintenance activities such as hardware replacement.
- Configure and deploy applications, including bulk deployments.
- Execute monthly and ad-hoc security patching across Windows, ESXi, and Linux platforms.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cloud Engineer possess at least one of the following certifications (a) AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Professional; (b) AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; (c) Microsoft Certified Solution Expert Cloud Platform and Infra.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or system administration.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Good understanding of networking, virtualization, DNS, and firewalls.
- Proficient in using monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
