Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to manage hybrid Azure/on‑prem environments from HarbourFront. You will ensure platform reliability, perform patching cycles, and implement IaC practices to uplift automation and resilience.

Qualifications include 4–7 years in infra/platform operations, Azure and hybrid cloud, Linux/Windows admin, container tech (Docker/Kubernetes), Terraform/Ansible, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).

Job description

Location: Harbourfront (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strong platform performance through monitoring, capacity planning, patching, and lifecycle management for both on-premise and cloud platform (Azure)
• Implement infrastructure standards and drive automation initiatives to uplift efficiency and reliability.
• Execute monthly patching cycles across hybrid environments with minimal disruption.
• Provide L2 and L3 BAU support for Azure and on-premises platform incidents.
• Support containerisation (Azure Docker, Kubernetes) and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation for consistent operations.

Key Requirements

• Experience with Azure, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native services
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration
• Hands-on knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
• Understanding of Nutanix and virtualisation concepts
• Good foundation in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, security)
• Scripting capabilities using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability platforms

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• 4-7 years experience in infrastructure/platform operations
• Proven experience supporting large-scale or high-availability systems
